What an apprenticeship actually is
It is a paid job. You turn up, you are paid from the first day, and you learn the trade by doing it next to people who already know how. There is no tuition to find and no degree in it — what you need is to want the work.
Every business on this page holds a current Minnesota state licence. The number, the type and how many years they have held it are on their own page, taken from the state's file, and you can check any of it yourself before you write to anybody.
What these businesses have told us is one thing and one thing only: that they would take somebody on. They have not told us about pay, about hours, or about whether they are looking this week. Those are questions to ask them.
What License List does here, and what it does not
We introduce people. That is the entire job. License List does not employ anybody, does not run anything, does not decide who gets taken on, and is not paid a penny by any business on this page.
Press a button below and your details come to us. We pass them to that business, and if we have no address on file for them a person here goes and finds one before anything moves. Nobody is promised anything at any point — not you, and not them. Whether they answer is theirs to decide.

Nobody has said yes yet
We have started asking the businesses on this site whether they would take somebody on, and none has answered yes so far. That is not the same as everybody saying no — most have not been asked. The official routes below do not depend on us at all, and they are worth following today.
