Free listings are the directory
Listings are built from a public license file. Nobody buys their way into it, and nobody can be removed from it by a competitor. A free listing does not expire.
A business can claim its listing to add its own details. Claiming is free.
What is paid, and how you can tell
Where a position is paid for, it is labelled “Featured” or “Sponsored” wherever it appears. If it is not labelled, nobody paid for it.
Sorting a page yourself ignores paid placement entirely, and the page says so where that applies.
Where nothing is ever sold
Crisis and mental-health care pages carry no advertising and no paid placement of any kind, regardless of what that costs us.
Where this comes from
The department's copy is the live one. Ours is a dated snapshot, and the date is in the footer.
