No. License List is a private directory and is not affiliated with any government agency.
The data is public record, published by the departments that issue the licenses. We copy it, date it, and link back to it. We do not add judgements of our own to anybody's license.
Which records
Contractor licenses come from the Department of Labor & Industry. The care listings come from the Department of Human Services and the Department of Health. Each page's footer names the department its data came from and links to that department's own lookup.
Which is more current
Theirs, always. Ours is a dated snapshot and the date is printed on every page. Before money changes hands, check the state's copy.
