What an absence means
It means we did not find them in the Minnesota license data this site is built from. That is all it means.
They may be newly licensed and not yet in our snapshot, licensed in another state, trading under a different registered name, based outside the area this directory covers, or in a trade Minnesota does not license at state level.
How to check properly
Search by the registered business name rather than the trading name — the state's file records the entity, which is often not the name on the van. Then check the state's own lookup, which is always more current than any copy of it.
If it is your business
Tell us and we will fix it. The correction route is in the footer of every page on this site and we answer within 48 hours.
Where this comes from
The department's copy is the live one. Ours is a dated snapshot, and the date is in the footer.
